Job summary

The Pokémon Company International is seeking a Cloud Information Security Engineer to design and execute security controls for our cloud environments, primarily AWS. You will lead incident response, risk analysis, and governance while working with stakeholders across security and IT teams.

Qualifications

• Five to seven years of relevant professional experience securing cloud environments, primarily AWS.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Strong background in technical engineering and architecture, e.g., infrastructure/cloud engineering or software development.

Responsibilities

• Administers cybersecurity policies to control access to cloud systems.
• Performs cloud security audits and testing and evaluates system configurations for policy compliance.
• Conducts penetration testing and vulnerability assessments of applications, OS, and networks.
• Responds to security breaches, identifies intrusions and isolates unauthorized access.
• Maintains CSPM software, vulnerability management pipelines, and encryption protocols.
• Provides management with risk assessments and security impact analyses.
