Job summary

The Pokémon Company International in Bellevue, WA seeks a Cloud Information Security Engineer to design and implement security controls for our cloud environments. You will conduct audits, manage vulnerabilities, and respond to incidents across AWS, email, and web systems, while collaborating with teams to reduce risk.

You’ll bring 5–7 years of cloud security experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and strong communication skills to report risk to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 5–7 years securing cloud environments, AWS preferred.
• Strong engineering/architecture background in cloud infra.
• Ability to communicate security risks to senior leadership.
• Experience managing security vendors and managed services.
• Proven incident response planning experience.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, SANS GIAC are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Administers cybersecurity policies to control cloud access.
• Performs cloud security audits and config reviews.
• Conducts penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.
• Responds to security breaches and isolates access.
• Maintains CSPM tools and encryption protocols.
• Provides impact analysis to management.
• Follows agile methods to achieve team goals.
