Job summary

Elevance Health seeks a Cloud Security Architect (Information Security Executive Advisor) to design, implement, and govern secure cloud architectures across AWS and Microsoft Azure. You will partner with engineering, DevOps, and compliance to embed security into all stages of cloud adoption and operations.

The role requires deep technical expertise, strategic leadership, and strong communication to influence enterprise security strategy while enabling scalable, compliant cloud solutions.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in IT or related field and 10+ years in security and systems administration.
• Experience with cloud security architecture, governance, and risk management.
• Strong collaboration with engineering, DevOps, and compliance teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and govern secure cloud architectures for AWS and Azure.
• Develop guardrails, reference architectures, and security standards.
• Lead cloud security strategy, devsecops practices, and vulnerability management.
• Implement IAM strategies including RBAC, ABAC, least privilege.
• Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines and IaC processes.
• Mentor engineers and drive security culture across the organization.
