Job summary

WEC Energy Group is seeking an IT Cloud Web Application Platform Engineer for our Milwaukee, Pewaukee, or Green Bay locations, with a flexible hybrid work arrangement (remote/on-site). The Cloud Platform Engineer will build and maintain cloud infrastructure and collaborate with development teams to deploy cloud-based applications and services.

The role requires a Bachelor's Degree and 2+ years of IT infrastructure experience, with preference for Azure/AWS development experience in enterprise

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree required.
2+ years of IT infrastructure experience.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field preferred.
2+ years of Azure and/or AWS development experience preferred.
Production support experience with large enterprise applications preferred.

Responsibilities

Provision platform as a service and application-based services in the cloud.
Collaborate with development teams for cloud-based application hosting.
Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for managing and provisioning cloud-based resources.
Maintain and govern library for IaC shared modules.
Collaborate with on-premise infrastructure teams to align infrastructure standards.
Participate in incident response and root-cause analysis for cloud infrastructure.
Participate in a 24x7 on-call support role on a rotating basis.
