Job summary

WEC Energy Group in Wisconsin is seeking an IT Cloud Server & Storage Platform Engineer to build and maintain cloud infrastructure for the enterprise. The Cloud Platform Engineer carries both operational and strategic responsibilities and collaborates with development teams to deploy and maintain cloud-based applications and services.

The role offers a hybrid work arrangement (remote/on-site) across Milwaukee, Pewaukee, or Green Bay locations, with a minimum of a Bachelor's degree and 2+ years

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required and 2+ years IT infrastructure experience.
• Azure and/or AWS cloud experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provision virtual machines and storage in the cloud.
• Provision backup and patch management of cloud resources.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for cloud provisioning.
• Govern IaC shared modules library.
• Collaborate with on-premise teams to align standards.
• Participate in incident response for cloud infrastructure.
• On-call support rotation (24x7).
