Job summary

Q2 is seeking an engineer to join the Risk & Fraud team in the U.S. This production‑focused role involves designing, implementing, testing, and operating cloud‑native, data‑driven services across Q2’s Fraud Intelligence Platform.

You will grow into more responsibilities while delivering reliable software where quality matters. Ideal candidates have 0–2+ years of experience with Python/SQL/JavaScript, web development with Vue/React/Angular, and AWS tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, JavaScript.
• Web development experience with Vue, Angular, or React.
• Understanding of full software development life cycle.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with AWS-native service-oriented architecture (RDS, Lambda, IAM, S3, EKS).
• Fluent English written and spoken.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.; sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Implement and unit test back-end components and front-end web pages.
• Create, integrate, and test software solutions of moderate complexity.
• Support, maintain, and resolve issues in production systems.
• Ensure adherence to security, confidentiality and privacy policies.
