Job summary

Paramount is seeking a Hybrid Infrastructure Engineer to guide a strategic shift from on-prem to a hybrid AWS footprint. You will partner with the VP of Technology to co-develop cloud strategy and own the cloud architecture and migration pipeline.

Working with the On-Prem team, you will ensure high availability, security, PCI-DSS Level 1 compliance, and optimized performance across hybrid environments, including IaC standards and secure network design.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in infrastructure, with 3+ years leading AWS cloud migrations.
• Proven history building or maintaining PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant infrastructure.
• Leadership: demonstrated success leading technical projects in a team setting.
• Certifications: AWS Security - Specialty, AWS Solutions Architect Professional, or AWS DevOps Engineer Professional.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build secure, scalable AWS cloud landing zones.
• Lead the design and execution of workload migration strategies.
• Ensure infrastructure meets high availability, security, and performance requirements.
• Migrate Hyper-V VMs to AWS EC2 or container services.
• Evaluate legacy workflows for cloud-first migration options.
• Establish deployment standards using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Design and enforce CDE segmentation across hybrid zones.
• Implement encryption for data at rest and in transit.
• Align IAM/AD policies with PCI access control requirements.
• Maintain continuous logging, monitoring, and audit trails.
