Job summary

Lenovo in Chicago, IL seeks an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Manager to lead a secure, scalable Azure platform for a multi-region AI-enabled environment. You will own architecture, reliability, DR, capacity planning, and delivery infrastructure across Azure services and GitHub Actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• 10+ years of relevant cloud infrastructure or platform engineering experience, incl. Azure production operations.
• People leadership experience with cross-functional delivery and incident ownership.
• Production experience with Azure Front Door, Application Gateway, Container Apps, API Management, and Foundry or similar.
• Experience with GitHub Actions, workload federation, and secure deployment controls.
• Experience with Terraform, Bicep, IaC tooling, policy as code, and CI/CD.
• Experience assessing PowerShell, Node.js, Python, and Java apps for cloud deployment and security.
• Vendor management, automation, capacity planning, and cloud cost optimization.

Responsibilities

• Lead the cloud platform team with hands-on leadership and sustainable support coverage.
• Own the platform roadmap, delivery priorities, risks, vendor relations, and escalation paths.
• Establish service ownership across development, AI, data, and security teams.
• Design multi-region Azure environments with active-active/passive patterns and DR planning.
• Define and manage SLOs, RTOs, and RPOs; test regional failover and recovery processes.
• Manage Azure Front Door, Application Gateway, DNS, TLS, VNETs, private endpoints, and security.
• Oversee Foundry resources, model deployments, access controls, and regional availability.
• Own API Management configuration, authentication, versioning, routing, and observability.
• Maintain IaC (Terraform/Bicep) and CI/CD workflows; ensure policy compliance and drift detection.
• Lead incident response, post-incident reviews, and continuous improvement.
