Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to lead and optimize our Microsoft enterprise stack across on‑prem and cloud environments. You will own the health, security, and performance of our global messaging, virtualization, and identity services, ensuring reliable operations and scalable growth.

Responsibilities include maintaining Exchange Server hybrid environments (2013–2019, Online), directing tenant‑to‑tenant migrations, and managing Proofpoint security with policy

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Systems Engineering experience with emphasis on Microsoft enterprise technologies.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Exchange (2013–2019, Online) in hybrid configurations.
• Deep proficiency in administering Proofpoint (policy management, filtering, protection).
• Direct experience managing VMware environments supporting Windows Server workloads.
• Advanced proficiency in PowerShell for cross‑platform automation.
• Solid understanding of AD/Azure AD, identity management, and core networking concepts for email flow and cloud connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and operational excellence across our enterprise IT ecosystem.
• Responsible for the health, security, and optimization of our global messaging platforms, core virtualization infrastructure, and identity services.
• Design, implement, and maintain Exchange Server (2013–2019) and Microsoft 365 hybrid environments.
• Lead complex tenant‑to‑tenant or on‑premises to cloud migrations, ensuring zero data loss and minimal user disruption.
• Manage and optimize Proofpoint email security solutions, including DLP, encryption, threat protection, and policy development.
• Administer Active Directory and Azure AD, managing identity/access protocols such as OAuth, SAML, and Multi‑Factor Authentication (MFA).
