Job summary

Verily Health Inc. seeks a Cloud Engineer in Raleigh, NC to build scalable, secure cloud platforms across GCP and other clouds. You’ll automate infrastructure, implement IaC, and help teams adopt best practices for reliability and performance.

Ideal candidates have cloud experience, IaC familiarity, and strong communication. The role is hybrid, with base salary in the US range plus bonus, equity, and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Hands on experience in public cloud platforms like GCP or AWS.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and GitOps tools.
• 0–1 years of experience with Go, Python, Shell, etc., for cloud workloads.
• 0–1 years in observability and incident management for high-availability systems.
• Strong communication skills and documentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize scalable, secure cloud infrastructure.
• Automate cloud infrastructure and operations with IaC and self-service workflows.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy and regulatory requirements (HIPAA, GDPR, FedRAMP).
• Collaborate with software, hardware, data science and security teams.
