Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a highly motivated Cloud DevSecOps Engineer to support enterprise IT in a hybrid (mostly remote) schedule. Role emphasizes secure software delivery and modern CI/CD pipelines in AWS for a demanding domestic environment.

You will design, test, and optimize pipelines using GitLab, Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/EKS and related tools, while mentoring teams and producing documentation and SOPs.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience implementing and supporting enterprise CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on with AWS ECS/EKS, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Python, Java, Node.js or .NET.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure DevSecOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Scale AWS-based CI/CD platforms and optimize deployment workflows.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across containers, cloud services and pipelines.
• Automate platform features and improve tooling infrastructure.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation and SOPs.
• Mentor peers, train customers and deliver technical briefings to leadership.
