Job summary

Capgemini Government Solutions is seeking a DevOps/API Developer to design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and secure RESTful APIs across on-prem and gov cloud environments (AWS/Azure). You will bridge development with IT operations, automate workflows, and enhance security and reliability in a hybrid setup.

The role requires active security clearance, a CS/IT/engineering degree, and hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, API engineering, and IaC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• Six (6) years of progressive experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage end-to-end CI/CD pipelines across local servers and cloud environments.
• Design, build, document, and maintain secure, scalable RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Manage networking, API routing, and data synchronization between on-prem and cloud services.
• Apply site-reliability practices to ensure continuous service delivery and high availability.
