Job summary

Dexian Government Solutions is seeking a System Engineer to join the datacenter support group in Monterey, CA. You will configure and support domain servers, SAN, NAS, backup systems, identity management, and security of the datacenter.

The role involves maintaining hybrid cloud/datacenter systems, planning and performing installations, and ensuring high availability. Certifications and security clearances are required for start.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in a related field with 5+ years relevant experience or AA/AS with 7+ years in lieu of degree.
• Proficiency with O365, VMware, Vsphere, NsX-T; Linux Red Hat; Windows Server; SQL and MySQL; EMC SAN and Active Directory.
• Strong knowledge of OS, networking, storage, cloud platforms, and security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage development/sustainment, staging, and production systems in a hybrid cloud/datacenter environment.
• Plan, install, maintain, troubleshoot, and manage all System servers and applications.
• Oversee high availability in a hybrid data center.
