Job summary

Aramark is seeking a hands-on Data Engineer to evolve our enterprise data platform and application stack. You will design, build, and deliver cloud-native data products that transform ingestion, processing, and analytics, enabling AI-driven capabilities.

The role is hybrid and based at our Philadelphia headquarters with onsite work in a hybrid capacity. You will own code, develop high-performance data pipelines, and contribute to data engineering best practices, CI/CD, and architecture

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of software development experience in the data domain.
• Proficient in Python and SQL.
• Experience with Azure and/or AWS.
• Experience with dbt and data warehousing (Snowflake/Databricks).
• Experience with Apache Spark or real-time streaming technologies.

Responsibilities

• Write, review, and own code; hands-on data engineering work.
• Build cloud-native data product components for enterprise use across teams.
• Develop scalable data pipelines and transformation with dbt.
• Ensure observability, testing, and CI/CD for data pipelines and products.
• Collaborate with distributed teams and stakeholders across the business.
