Michigan Farm Bureau seeks a Cloud Architect to own the enterprise cloud strategy, shape standards, and guide secure, cost-effective delivery of critical business capabilities. You will translate objectives into scalable cloud and hybrid reference architectures, partnering with leaders across IT and business units.

This hybrid role combines remote work from Michigan with onsite presence at the Lansing Home Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
• 8-10 years in cloud architecture/engineering for regulated/high-availability environments.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and landing zones.
• Experience designing enterprise reference architectures and guardrails.
• Certifications preferred: AWS/Azure/GCP CCSP or FinOps optional.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end cloud architecture strategy and design standards.
• Lead enterprise cloud solution architecture for high-availability workloads.
• Develop cloud adoption and migration roadmaps with cost and risk controls.
• Define cloud security architecture with IAM, segmentation, encryption.
• Lead architecture reviews and remediation with audit and compliance teams.
