Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Cloud Architect to operationalize Azure practices and mature cloud governance. The role leads Azure landing zones, automation, and cost optimization while enabling developers to move systems to the cloud with clear ownership and repeatable patterns.

You will collaborate across Infrastructure, Security, EA, and application teams, and build runbooks, reference architectures, and training to lift the organization's long-term cloud capability.

Qualifications

• Deep Azure architecture and engineering experience across landing zones and governance.
• IaC automation with Terraform, Bicep/ARM, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience designing secure Azure environments with policy and logging.
• Proven ability to plan migrations and operationalize cloud services.
• Experience establishing DevOps/SRE practices and FinOps awareness.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement an Azure operating model including landing zones and governance.
• Build cloud adoption roadmaps addressing migrations, sequencing, and cutover planning.
• Collaborate with Security, EA, and vendors to document architecture decisions.
• Establish operational practices for identity, networking, monitoring, and cost management.
• Provide hands-on leadership, create runbooks, and mentor engineers.
