Job summary

Vistra Corporate Services Company in Irving, Texas seeks a Principal Application Architect to lead architecture strategies across applications and cloud, driving automation and cost efficiencies. You will define standards, roadmaps, and governance, while guiding the architecture community and mentoring automation engineers to deliver enterprise-scale solutions.

The role emphasizes collaboration with business units, hands-on architectural design, and ensuring adherence to TOGAF, ITIL, and DevOps

Qualifications

8+ years minimum; 12+ years preferred.
5+ years experience managing/supervising teams.
Working knowledge of ISO 9000, ITIL, Cloud, Agile, Scrum, DevOps, TOGAF.
Experience gained through college degree programs and/or certifications.

Responsibilities

Oversee architecture and platforms for all applications and information architecture.
Engage business unit leaders to define technology solutions and roadmaps.
Define guiding principles, standards and roadmaps for all applications.
Design infrastructure and cloud architecture to meet business requirements.
Define and communicate Enterprise Architecture and Tech Governance practices.
Drive cost management and automation across the IT landscape.
Mentor and guide engineers within the Digital Labor Center of Excellence.
