Job summary

ICON Strategic Solutions is seeking a Clinical Trial Assistant to support delivery of clinical studies within a sponsor. You will help manage study documentation, TMF setup, eTMF, CTMS, and regulatory compliance across ICH/GCP guidelines.

You will coordinate communication platforms, monitor TMF status, assist with budgets and invoices, and support audit readiness while working onsite 3-4 days a week in South San Francisco, CA with some home-based days.

Qualifications

• High school or GED with four years relevant experience; Bachelor's degree or above preferred.
• At least 1 year of CTA/CRC or clinical trials experience.
• Oncology experience a huge plus.
• Strong organizational and presentation abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• ICH/GCP knowledge.
• On-site presence 3–4 days a week in South San Francisco, CA.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of clinical studies within the sponsor.
• Assist in study setup, maintenance, and close-out per protocol and timelines.
• Lead TMF/eTMF setup and CTMS; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Create and maintain study communications (MS Teams, group emails).
• Manage access controls for study systems (IxRS, EDC, CTMS, eTMF).
• Support study registrations and disclosures as required.
• Oversee TMF status, QC checks, and TMF transfer processes.
• Assist with budget tracking, IO/PO setup, and vendor invoicing.
