Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Health Science or equivalent is required.
• Advanced degree in health-related areas (e.g., Health Sciences, Behavioral Sciences, Public Health, Health Care Administration, Clinical Research Administration, Social Work, Psychology, Epidemiology) is required or preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of human subject experience in clinical, lab, or health-regulatory settings.
• Ability to follow written protocols and maintain detailed records.
• Comfort in patient-care environments including operating room; handling biological specimens with safety practices.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities; can manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assist faculty with day-to-day execution of clinical research studies per protocol and policies.
• Prepare, calibrate, and maintain study equipment and materials per study and regulatory standards.
• Review clinic schedule weekly to identify cases meeting protocol requirements or consent opportunities.
• Coordinate with clinical teams to confirm timing and logistics of study activities.
• Consent patients for research studies using IRB-approved materials and protections.
• Identify and screen patients for research participation as permitted by protocol and regulations.
• Maintain accurate study documentation and report issues promptly.
• Participate in study meetings and communicate with investigators, coordinators, staff, and lab personnel.
