Job summary

Mass General Brigham's Brain Modulation Lab seeks a Clinical Research Coordinator to coordinate a DBS study for Parkinson’s disease, supporting data collection, patient recruitment, and coordination with neurosurgery and neurology teams.

You will perform pre- and post-operative data collection, administer tasks, and manage confidential records, using Excel, MATLAB, and Python, in a hybrid work setting at 60 Blossom Street, Boston.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field; experience may substitute for degree.
• Familiar with clinical research protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Strong data management and documentation capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Screen and recruit Parkinson's disease patients for DBS studies.
• Coordinate research activities around clinical care and DBS procedures.
• Assist with setup, execution, and takedown of experiments in OR.
• Conduct quantitative motor assessments during postoperative visits.
• Administer cognitive and behavioral tasks to inpatients.
• Manage patient charts and de-identify data for analysis.
• Maintain research databases and IRB submission materials.
