Qualifications

• Experience designing, analyzing and presenting analytical solutions for multi-disciplinary teams.
• Strong data interpretation skills applied to patient care and operational outcomes.
• Familiarity with clinical systems (Epic, Cerner) and analytics suites for reporting.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical analyses in a team oriented atmosphere and review the analytical outcomes to both clinical and non-clinical audiences.
• Identify trends in outcomes, utilization, medical quality and other areas.
• Stay abreast on new solutions relevant to the department through webinars and conferences.
• Maintain high level of accuracy and timeliness.
• Identify current/future data challenges, develop meaningful recommendations and provide timely updates.
• Meet deadlines and work extended hours as needed.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and data accuracy.
• Prioritize and complete assigned tasks.
• Master new software programs and upgrades.
• Collaborate with internal/external teams to ensure accurate data definitions.
• Develop relationships with internal UPMC departments and external contacts.
• Assist in leading discussions with multi-disciplinary teams including senior management.
