Job summary

Northern Trust in Chicago is seeking an Accounting and Data Services (ADS) Client Consultant responsible for the accounting and reporting components of key client relationships, coordinating reporting, small projects, process improvements, and KPI tracking.

You will be the ADS lead during transitions, act as the primary client contact for inquiries, provide accounting guidance internally and externally, and support the monthly close while collaborating with senior management to drive

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Experience with accounting reporting and products.
• Client-facing experience and ability to present detailed concepts.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Analytical, consultative, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Act as first point of reference for client inquiries.
