Job summary

Anderson Business Advisors seeks a detail-oriented bookkeeper to provide high-quality bookkeeping services to multiple clients. You will review transaction coding, maintain records, and generate financial reports while building strong client relationships through proactive communication and regular consultations.

Required qualifications include 2+ years in QuickBooks, a Bachelor's in Accounting, strong Excel skills, and experience managing at least 15 client accounts.

Qualifications

• Experience with QuickBooks and strong knowledge of accounting principles.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Experience communicating with clients regarding financials.
• Moderate knowledge of Excel and ability to work with spreadsheets.
• Experience managing multiple client accounts simultaneously (min 15).

Responsibilities

• Onboarding of new clients, reviewing their entities and business needs.
• Conduct monthly client check-ins to gather documentation and address financial inquiries.
• Schedule and lead consultation meetings with clients.
• Maintain bookkeeping records for various client companies.
• Review client transactions for accurate categorization and coding.
• Generate and interpret financial reports (P&L, balance sheets, GL, customized reports).
• Address past bookkeeping issues to bring books up to date.
