Job summary

Anderson Business Advisors is seeking a detail-oriented bookkeeper to provide high-quality services for multiple clients. You will review transaction categorization, coding, and ensure records meet accounting standards while guiding the day-to-day bookkeeping team.

In this role you will build strong client relationships through proactive communication, regular consultations, and proactive account management, addressing inquiries and ensuring books are accurate and actionable.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of QuickBooks experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
• Moderate knowledge of Excel.
• Experience managing at least 15 client accounts.
• General accounting knowledge (debits and credits).
• High accuracy and attention to detail.
• Experience communicating with clients about their financials.

Responsibilities

• Onboarding of new clients and setting expectations.
• Conduct monthly client check-ins to gather documentation and understand needs.
• Schedule and lead consultation meetings with clients.
• Maintain bookkeeping records for client companies.
• Review client transactions for accurate categorization and coding.
• Generate and interpret financial reports (P&L, balance sheet, GL, etc.).
• Address past bookkeeping issues to bring books up to date.
• Partner with global team to ensure service delivery.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
