Job summary

Core Specialty Insurance Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Litigation Analyst in Cincinnati, OH to manage claims against security and investigation firms from receipt through resolution. You will coordinate with insureds to gather facts, analyze coverage, and draft position letters.

You will supervise defense counsel, monitor budgets, and report significant reserve changes to management. Occasional travel to mediation or court may be required in this hybrid role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3+ years of claims experience preferred.
• Law degree is a plus.
• Knowledge of third-party liability claims handling required.
• Knowledge of first party commercial auto claims handling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adjust and manage claims from receipt through resolution, including trial/appeal.
• Identify witnesses and obtain insured’s knowledge of the allegations.
• Analyze coverage and prepare coverage position letters with reservation of rights, disclaimers, and tenders.
• Oversee defense counsel and ensure timely reporting and defense strategy review.
• Communicate developments to underwriters and exterior carriers; monitor reserves.
