Job summary

Core Specialty is seeking a Litigation Analyst in Cincinnati, OH, for a hybrid role supporting claims and defense teams. You will manage claims through resolution, identify witnesses, analyze coverage, and prepare position letters. Regular interaction with underwriters, insureds, and outside counsel is required.

The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in claims or litigation support; a JD is a plus. Travel may be necessary for mediations and trials.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Analyze and manage claims and related litigation from receipt to resolution.
• Coordinate with defense counsel, underwriting, and insured to identify key facts and witnesses.
• Prepare coverage positions, budget oversight, and settlement strategies.
• Maintain organized case files, diaries, and documentation per guidelines and regulations.
• Attend mediations and settlement conferences as needed.
• Communicate developments and reserves to management and external carriers; monitor legal spend.
