Job summary

Philadelphia Insurance Companies, part of the Tokio Marine Group, is seeking a Claims Supervisor II - Commercial General Liability. The role supervises claims adjusters and support staff, guiding day-to-day claims handling, document processing and settlements.

Ideal candidates have extensive claims experience, CPCU or similar studies, and a strong background in professional liability and property/casualty insurance. This is a hybrid role with some remote work options.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 10+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Associate in Claims, CPCU or other industry related studies.
• Experience with Windows operating system.
• Basic Word processing skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervises day-to-day activities of a claims handling unit; oversees investigation of insurance claims.
• Ensures adherence to corporate claims handling procedures and priorities; meets budget and productivity requirements.
• Ensures department targets for customer service quality are met.
• Participates in hiring, training, evaluation and development of the claims staff.
