Progressive is seeking a claims adjuster trainee in Mount Laurel, NJ. You’ll learn to determine coverage and liability, interview claimants and witnesses, and coordinate vehicle repairs with appraisers in a supportive, coaching-focused environment.

The role is hybrid with in-office and remote days, 12-month training, and a path to independent claims adjustment. Salary starts during training and increases after completion.

Qualifications

• Three years of work experience OR bachelor’s degree OR two years work experience and an associate degree.

Responsibilities

• Determine coverage.
• Determine liability (who’s at fault for the damages).
• Interview customers, claimants, and witnesses.
• Partner with appraisers/estimators to manage vehicle repairs.
• Negotiate with customers and other insurance carriers and resolve claims.
