Job summary

Progressive is seeking a claims adjuster trainee to learn how to help customers get back on the road after an accident. This hybrid role involves building relationships with customers over the phone while you receive in-depth training on property damage and insurance contracts so you can confidently handle claims from start to finish.

During the 12-month training, you’ll work in-office two days per week and choose where to work the other three days, whether at home or in the office.

Qualifications

• 3 years of work experience OR a Bachelor’s degree OR 2 years work experience and an associate degree.

Responsibilities

• Determine coverage
• Determine liability (who’s at fault for the damages)
• Interview customers, claimants, and witnesses
• Partner with appraisers/estimators to manage vehicle repairs
• Negotiate with customers and other insurance carriers and resolve claims
