Progressive Insurance is seeking a claims adjuster trainee to learn how to help customers recover after an accident. You’ll work with a collaborative team, build relationships over the phone, and receive in-depth training on property damage and insurance contracts to confidently and independently adjust claims.

This hybrid role combines in-office days with flexible remote work, a 12‑month training period, and a path to ongoing development, with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Qualifications

• Three years of work experience or a bachelor’s degree.
• Two years of work experience with an associate degree.

Responsibilities

• Determine coverage.
• Determine liability (who’s at fault for the damages).
• Interview customers, claimants, and witnesses.
• Partner with appraisers/estimators to manage vehicle repairs.
• Negotiate with customers and other insurance carriers and resolve claims.
