Job summary

Progressive is hiring a claims adjuster trainee to learn how to help customers get back on the road after an accident. You’ll build relationships with customers over the phone and manage a full case load with coaching from leaders.

This hybrid role requires you to work in-office two days per week and choose where you work the other three days for 12 months, with adjustments after that period based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Three years of work experience OR
• Bachelor’s degree OR
• Two years work experience and an associate degree

Responsibilities

• Determine coverage for claims.
• Determine liability for damages.
• Interview customers, claimants, and witnesses.
• Partner with appraisers/estimators to manage vehicle repairs.
• Negotiate with customers and other carriers to resolve claims.
