Progressive is seeking a claims adjuster trainee to learn how to help customers get back on the road after an accident. This role is not field-based; you’ll build relationships with customers over the phone and manage a full case load from start to finish.

The position offers a hybrid schedule: 2 in-office days chosen by leadership and 3 days working from home or in the office, for 12 months, with training and coaching from leaders.

Qualifications

• Three years of work experience OR
• Bachelor’s degree OR
• Two years work experience and an associate degree

Responsibilities

• Determine coverage
• Determine liability (who’s at fault for the damages)
• Interview customers, claimants, and witnesses
• Partner with appraisers/estimators to manage vehicle repairs
• Negotiate with customers and other insurers to resolve claims
