Progressive is seeking a claims adjuster trainee based in Overland Park, KS. This hybrid role combines in-office days with remote work, and includes full training in property damage, liability, and claims handling.

You will build relationships over the phone, resolve a full claim load, and receive ongoing coaching from leaders. Eligible candidates include veterans and military spouses in the local area.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications: Three years of work experience OR
• Bachelor’s degree OR
• Two years work experience and an associate degree

Responsibilities

• Determine coverage
• Determine liability (who’s at fault for the damages)
• Interview customers, claimants, and witnesses
• Partner with appraisers/estimators to manage vehicle repairs
• Negotiate with customers and other insurance carriers and resolve claims
