Job summary

GFT is looking for Civil/Structural Engineers to support critical infrastructure projects in Northern California. The successful candidate will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, tackling challenging assignments in design and analysis. Responsibilities include performing engineering calculations, preparing technical documents, and participating in field work. A Bachelor's in Civil Engineering and E.I.T. certification are required, with a salary range of $100,000 - $140,000. The position offers a hybrid work model and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, with structural emphasis preferred.
• Engineer in Training (E.I.T.) certification required.
• 4 or more years of direct work experience in civil engineering.
• Experience in advanced design software applications preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Performing routine and complex design, analysis, and engineering calculations.
• Assisting with the preparation of construction drawings and technical reports.
• Reviewing shop drawings for conformance with contract documents.
• Attending client meetings under supervision of project manager.
• Field work including inspections and construction observation.
