Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, with structural emphasis preferred.
Engineer in Training (E.I.T.) certification required.
4 or more years of direct work experience in civil engineering.
Experience in advanced design software applications preferred.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
Performing routine and complex design, analysis, and engineering calculations.
Assisting with the preparation of construction drawings and technical reports.
Reviewing shop drawings for conformance with contract documents.
Attending client meetings under supervision of project manager.
Field work including inspections and construction observation.
