Keystone Distinction Group is seeking an attorney to manage civil litigation matters from inception through resolution in a hybrid Manchester, NH environment. The role encompasses professional liability, tort and liability defense, and workers' compensation, with regular client communication and strategic litigation planning.

The ideal candidate has a JD from an ABA-accredited school, NH bar admission, and 1+ year of civil litigation experience.

Qualifications

• JD from ABA-accredited law school required.
• Active admission to the New Hampshire State Bar required.
• 1+ year of civil litigation experience; 1-3 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage civil litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Handle matters involving Professional Liability, Tort and Liability Defense, and Workers' Compensation.
• Manage assigned caseloads with partners and senior attorneys.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, legal memoranda, status reports, and other litigation documents.
• Conduct legal research to support litigation strategy and case development.
• Monitor case deadlines and ensure timely completion of litigation activities.
• Maintain organized case files and documentation throughout the litigation process.
• Respond to discovery requests and assist with all phases of discovery.
• Prepare for and participate in depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Take and defend fact and expert witness depositions.
• Draft and argue dispositive motions.
• Prepare litigation materials and support effective case presentation.
• Represent clients in NH state and federal courts.
• Ensure compliance with court rules, deadlines, and scheduling requirements.
• Communicate regularly with clients regarding case status and litigation strategy.
• Prepare interim status reports and provide clear legal updates to clients.
• Collaborate with partners, senior attorneys, experts, clients, and legal support staff.
• Maintain professional and responsive client relationships.
• Contribute to a respectful, collaborative team environment while independently managing matters.
