Kutak Rock LLP seeks an Associate for our Litigation practice in Irvine. The ideal attorney has civil litigation experience and a drive to grow in complex matters across real estate, commercial, employment, and consumer finance litigation, collaborating closely with partners and clients.

We offer a collaborative environment with opportunities for leadership in cases and exposure to high-stakes matters, under a hybrid work arrangement with a supervising attorney's oversight.

Qualifications

• Active California bar license required.
• Minimum 3+ years in civil litigation defense.
• Experience in complex business, real estate, or employment litigation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a broad range of complex litigation matters in federal/state courts and arbitration forums.
• Handle facets of civil litigation including client communications, motions, discovery, appearances, and settlements.
• Take and defend fact and expert depositions.
