GHD is seeking a Civil Engineer Intern in San Luis Obispo, CA. You will apply degree-level knowledge to support tasks under close supervision and help deliver municipal and infrastructure projects from concept to design, with a hybrid work model involving the Roseville office three days per week.

The role emphasizes building practical experience in civil engineering practices within a real-world consulting environment, focusing on data collection, inspections, and simple design feedback.

Qualificações

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• No prior professional experience required.

Responsabilidades

• Contract Management: Carry out a range of contract management tasks.
• Data Collection and Analysis: Produce accurate reports from standard data sources.
• Engineering Inspections: Support inspections of engineering works and installations.
• Engineering Solutions Design: Assist feasibility testing of proposed solutions under supervision.
• Health, Safety, and Environment: Follow HSE policies to identify risks and safeguard people and environment.
• Improvement/Innovation: Implement simple improvements and change tasks.
• Knowledge Management System: Perform knowledge management tasks following procedures.
• Personal Capability Building: Participate in assessment, development planning, and training.
• Product and Solution Development: Assist analysis of client situations and data interpretation.
