Job summary

STV Incorporated is seeking an enthusiastic Civil Engineering Intern to join our Jacksonville team. This hybrid internship requires at least three days per week in the office and offers exposure to a range of civil projects for undergraduate and graduate candidates.

You will assist from conceptual design to project completion, coordinate with architects and engineers, and prepare technical reports while learning current engineering standards and software tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering at an ABET-accredited University or NCEES equivalent.
• Knowledge of MicroStation, Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and/or Open Roads Designer preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing civil engineering projects from conceptualization through to completion, ensuring regulatory compliance and project specifications.
• Collaborate with architects, environmental engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate project elements.
• Interface with clients, contractors, and regulators to address project issues and ensure project success.
• Support feasibility studies, site investigations, and risk assessments to inform design.
• Prepare technical reports, narratives, and development applications.
• Contribute to engineering designs using AutoCAD and Civil 3D; apply current standards.
