Job summary

STV, Inc. is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern to join our team in a hybrid role. Candidates must be pursuing a Civil Engineering degree (ABET-accredited) and can work at least 3 days per week in the office.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Civil Engineering at an ABET-accredited university.
• Preferred familiarity with civil design software and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of regulatory and project specifications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing civil engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring compliance with standards and specs.
• Collaborate with architects, environmental engineers, and stakeholders to integrate project elements.
• Interface with clients, contractors, and regulators to address project issues.
• Support feasibility studies, site investigations, and risk assessments for design input.
• Prepare technical reports, narratives, and development applications.
• Contribute to engineering designs using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and related tools.
• Learn current standards and procedures and assist with proposals and documentation.
