Job summary

Kleinfelder is seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager to join our growing Mid-Atlantic design team. The role focuses on leading multi-disciplinary utilities projects with strong land development experience, client relationships, and budget oversight.

The position offers hybrid work with travel within Maryland/DC and to Bridgeport, WV. Candidates should have 12+ years in engineering, 5+ years in PM, and a PE license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• 7+ years of related experience and 5+ years in project management.
• Experience with land development regulations is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of project execution including organization, delivery, subcontractor management, scheduling and reporting.
• Grow client relationships and contracts for multi-disciplinary utility projects.
• Lead, mentor and develop staff to achieve career goals.
• Oversee pursuits, allocate resources, and manage engineering budgets.
• Lead technical, cost, and scheduling decisions to meet quality standards.
