Job summary

KARL STORZ Endoscopy is seeking a Network Administrator to join our US-based network team. You will administer Cisco-based LAN/WAN and wireless networks, troubleshoot outages, and work with global colleagues to keep systems secure and highly available.

The role supports hybrid work (2 days remote, 3 days on-site in El Segundo, CA) with periodic travel for site deployments. Cisco CCNA and a CS/IT degree are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Cisco-based enterprise networks (LAN/WAN/Wi‑Fi).
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience; CCNA.
• Strong TCP/IP, DNS/DHCP/IPAM, VLANs, QoS, routing protocols.
• Experience with routers/switches, firewalls, VPN, SD‑WAN and NAC.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain LAN/WAN/Wi‑Fi health and performance.
• Configure Cisco routers/switches and SD‑WAN across sites.
• Manage wireless controllers and access points; plan site surveys.
• Configure firewalls and remote access; enforce security policies.
• Troubleshoot incidents; perform root-cause analysis with teams.
• Plan patching, firmware updates, and device lifecycle.
• Administer IPAM, DNS, DHCP; support cloud connectivity.
• Produce runbooks and network documentation; assist on-call.
• Support ITIL change management and incident handling.
