Job summary

OpenKyber has an opening for a Network Engineer in Charlotte, NC. This 12-month contract offers a hybrid schedule (3 days in office). Compensation ranges from $45.00 to $55.00 per hour on a W2 basis, with no PTO or benefits, plus ACA-compliant supplemental enrollment options.

Candidates must be US legally authorized to work, and sponsorship is not available. Hybrid days are Tuesday and Wednesday plus one more day of choice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from a four-year college.
• Two years minimum related work experience.
• In lieu of degree and experience, High School/GED with six years related work exp.
• Proficiency in networking protocols and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Support internal data networks with focus on reliability.
• Troubleshoot LAN, WAN and wireless network performance issues.
• Troubleshoot appliances like firewalls and WAN accelerators.
• Provide timely resolution to trouble tickets.
• Contribute to network improvement initiatives.
• Participate in on-call rotation duties.
• Collaborate across all IT operations tiers.
