Data Network Engineer (Full Time, Contract; Hybrid in Charlotte, NC)

Optomi, in partnership with a leading enterprise organization, is seeking a Data Network Engineer to support the design, implementation, and ongoing improvement of complex enterprise network solutions. This hands‑on role focuses on Cisco routing and switching, Cisco IOS configuration, WAN circuit turn‑ups and troubleshooting, and maintaining accurate network documentation and diagrams. The engineer will work closely with cross‑functional IT teams to deliver reliable, cost‑effective network solutions, participate in planning and testing new hardware deployments, and ensure smooth integration within an existing enterprise environment. This is an ideal opportunity for a seasoned network engineer who enjoys owning technical outcomes, working independently within a collaborative team, and supporting large‑scale, mission‑critical network infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, test, and implement enterprise data network solutions
