Job summary

The Psychotherapist at Children's Hospital Los Angeles provides psychotherapeutic services for children, adolescents, and their families with complex needs. You will assess, plan treatments, and deliver psychotherapy, with possible group facilitation and case management support.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of clinical experience with children, adolescents, young adults, and/or families/caregivers.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Valid CA Driver’s License and proof of insurance required for field-based services.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychotherapeutic services for a caseload of patients with acutely complex needs.
• Perform assessment, treatment planning and psychotherapy; may facilitate groups.
• Provide case management as needed and support access to services.
• Work primarily in a clinic setting with some field-based work.
• Collaborate with team members and ensure compliance with CA Board of Behavioral Sciences.
