Job summary

The Utah State Charter School Board seeks a Charter School Program Specialist to support the development and improvement of elementary and secondary charter school programs. You will plan, promote, and evaluate initiatives, and provide training for current and aspiring charter school personnel.

Additionally, you will conduct research and data analysis, coordinate with educational institutions, and design projects aimed at improving charter school education.

Qualifications

Basic knowledge of mathematics, statistics, and their applications.
Proficiency in English language and grammar.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and listening skills.
Ability to manage time and resources effectively.

Responsibilities

Assist in providing oversight to charter schools aligned with goals and objectives.
Interpret and apply policies, procedures, and laws relevant to charter schools.
Provide technical assistance related to compliance with federal and state laws and regulations.
Organize meetings, conferences, and workshops for charter school stakeholders.
Coordinate with other agencies to support charter schools.
Assist in designing and conducting research projects focused on charter schools.
Present recommendations and evaluate research data to improve charter schools.
