Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a Sr. Charge Analyst to lead chargemaster operations at BLOM Administrative Campus in Columbus, OH.

This hybrid role focuses on planning, auditing, and implementing charging regulations across departments and new services while coordinating with the Central Business Office, HIM, IT, and Compliance. The incumbent will mentor Charge Analysts, drive system-wide chargemaster development, and oversee projects that improve reimbursement and billing accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• CCS, RHIA certifications preferred.
• CPC/CPC-H certifications considered.
• Strong ability to read, analyze, and interpret federal/state regulations.
• Extensive knowledge of hospital operations and revenue cycle functions.
• Experience with chargemaster management and billing systems.
• Proficient in software for modeling, reporting and databases.

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor Charge Analysts activities, including CDM reviews and audits.
• Represent the department on cross-functional teams and ensure goals are met.
• Provide ongoing coaching and orientation for Charge Analysts.
• Lead advanced chargemaster initiatives across multiple facilities.
• Assist with special non-routine projects as needed.
• Develop and maintain chargemaster for Ohio operations and ensure compliant pricing.
