Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting or related field required.
• Extensive progressive experience leading or supporting finance/accounting in a large, complex org (>$1B budget).
• Higher education experience preferred (R1 or large public university).
• Experience with ERP systems and external audits is essential.
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Fiscal Services division (~100 staff), setting direction and performance expectations.
• Oversee monthly close, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and treasury management.
• Ensure internal controls, compliance, and risk management across the university.
• Present financials to the Board and Senior Leadership Team; advise the President on financial implications.
