Job summary

Peak Industrial is seeking a Hybrid CDL Driver & Trailer Technician to safely transport equipment and trailers, and to perform inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on company trailers and customer equipment.

This role blends over-the-road and local driving with hands-on maintenance, ensuring trailers remain safe, compliant, and operable while service orders are completed accurately and timely.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with acceptable driving record.
• Current DOT Medical Card and 2+ years of driving experience.
• 2+ years trailer maintenance or mechanical experience.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and vehicle inspection requirements.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles and trailers in DOT-compliant ways.
• Transport equipment and materials to customer and company locations.
• Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections and document results.
• Maintain driver logs, inspection reports, and shipping docs accurately.
• Diagnose and repair brake systems, electrical systems, and trailer components.
