Applegreen seeks a Category Manager to lead category strategies across its retail portfolio. You will manage assortment, pricing, promotions, and supplier partnerships, driving sales growth and profitability.

Collaborate with Operations, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance to identify opportunities and deliver data-driven category plans. The role requires strong analytics, 5+ years in retail, and a proven track record in negotiations and cross-functional leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Merchandising, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in retail buying, category management, merchandising, or procurement.
• Strong experience negotiating supplier agreements.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Office Suite.
• Experience with PDI and retail reporting platforms.
• Strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret and leverage data to drive business decisions.
• Excellent planning, organization, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies to drive sales growth and margins.
• Manage product assortment, pricing, promotions, and merchandising plans.
• Analyze sales, margin, and market data to identify opportunities.
• Conduct category reviews and develop action plans.
• Deliver accurate category forecasts, budgets, and performance reporting.
• Monitor lifecycle performance and recommend assortment changes.
