Job summary

Marsh Re. is seeking a talented analyst to join our Analytics and Advisory team in a hybrid role based in New York or Philadelphia.

You will manage catastrophe modeling projects from start to finish and contribute to meaningful client discussions on reinsurance strategy and pricing adequacy. This role requires a minimum of three days in the office weekly and offers a comprehensive rewards package including health benefits, 401(k) and tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with catastrophe models across insurance segments.
• Strong data management: manipulate, interpret and extrapolate complex data.
• Superior communication and presentation skills, translating technical analysis for brokers/clients.
• Curious, proactive and collaborative with the ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage catastrophe modeling projects from start to finish with timely, high-quality deliverables.
• Contribute to client discussions on reinsurance strategy, underwriting support and portfolio management.
• Build and maintain relationships with brokers, clients and reinsurers while responding to questions.
• Develop region- and peril-specific expertise through research, training, and hands-on experience.
